The Japanese designer, Kensaku Oshiro, has designed four pieces with great versatility yet with a strong identity. For this collection,the designer has drawn inspiration from traditional Poltrona Frau production processes and decorations, combining them with tailoring ideas from the fashion world. Classic stitching and soft folds enhance the sinuous minimalism of the design. The combination of textiles and leather create an elegant eff ect.

Kensaku Oshiro	Kensaku Oshiro was born in Okinawa, Japan, in 1977. Since 1999, after receiving a Master degree in Industrial Design at “ScuolaPolitecnica di Design” in Milan, he began working with several practices until 2004. He suddenly joined the design team of LissoniAssociati studio, with whom he worked until mid-2012. In the second half of 2012 he moved to London to work with BarberOsgerby. In June 2015 he opened his own studio in Milan. He took part in many exhibitions and competitions, winning prestigious international awards. Among them: the "Design Report Award" in 2006 at Salone Satellite, the "Cristalplant Design Contest" award in 2012, the "GandiaBlasco Design Contest" award and two special mentions at "Young & Design Award". In his carrier he has worked in partnership with various important companies in the world of design.
